Australia 2025
Exposure Therapy

It was a very cold swim. In dark water. In Australia.
I can’t believe I (Nessie) wasn’t spooked by the lack of visibility for other swimming creatures.
But we’d recently snorkeled the open ocean with whale sharks (!!). And a bazillion other bodies of water.
Plus we’d reunited with Melissa. A German who also swam with whale sharks. Man if I don’t love a travel buddy rendezvous.
We got back in the van. It was sunny. Maggie Rogers came on. I cried tears of happiness and gratitude.

We wrapped our 2025 EuroTrip celebrating Carnival in Venice!! It was stunning. The costumes were incredible.
We wrapped Carnival in Venice puking our (food poisoned) guts out in a campground. It was differently stunning. The mulled wine was not incredible or worth it.

Angus and Nessie flew from Madrid, Spain to Venice, Italy.
They rented a camper van and started their drive to Germany.
First through the Dolomites.
At least Nessie is eager to return!
